A Polish medium-sized enterprise based in Kujawsko-Pomorskie operates in the agricultural machinery and precision farming technology sector and develops innovative equipment for modern, sustainable crop production. The company’s flagship project concerns a new generation of hybrid and multifunctional machines dedicated to one-pass strip-till technology. The machines are designed for farms and agricultural service companies seeking to improve productivity while reducing fuel, fertiliser, seed and labour costs. The solution is intended for large farms, particularly those cultivating more than 50 hectares, as well as professional agricultural contractors. The machines integrate soil sensors, soil scanners, automatic adjustment of working elements, variable application of fertilisers and seeds, monitoring of operating parameters and remote management functions. The system is designed to react in real time to changing field conditions or operate on the basis of previously mapped data. The solution also incorporates elements of artificial intelligence, IoT, GIS and smart field technologies. Compared with conventional strip-till machines, the proposed solution offers a high degree of versatility and precision. It enables automatic control of sowing and cultivation depth, variable fertilisation, real-time monitoring and remote operation. According to the project data, the technology may increase working efficiency by approximately 1 ha/hour, reduce fertiliser consumption by at least 30%, save up to 50 litres of fuel per hectare, reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 132 kg per hectare and improve crop emergence by around 20%. The product is designed for different agronomic, economic and soil conditions and can be adapted to the requirements of various agricultural markets. The company intends to commercialise the solution in Poland and other European countries, including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and Ukraine, as well as in selected markets in Asia and Africa. The project is supported by research and development activities carried out in cooperation with academic research teams. The work includes the development of machine controllers, automation systems, agricultural testing procedures and algorithms based on PID control, fuzzy logic and artificial neural networks. The technology has reached Technology Readiness Level 9, as indicated in the submitted form.
